Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
By creating an account or using EazyFi Vault, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — especially how encryption and your vault key work.
The service
EazyFi Vault lets you store important personal information in a locked, encrypted vault and, if you choose, grant controlled family access in an emergency. The service includes account sign-in, encrypted storage (cloud and/or your own encrypted backup file), and family-access notifications and rules you configure. See our Security FAQ for plain-language answers.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter in your vault.
- You must keep your account credentials and vault key safe. Anyone who has your vault key can open your locked entries on a device where they have access — so treat it like a safe combination.
- You choose who receives family access and on what terms. Only invite people you trust.
- You must not use the service for unlawful purposes or to store content you do not have the right to hold.
Encryption and your vault key
Vault entries are encrypted on your device before being saved. We cannot read your vault contents and we do not store your vault key. If you lose your vault key, we cannot recover your entries. This is a core security feature, not a limitation we can override.
Your account password (or Google sign-in) protects access to your EazyFi account. It is not the same as your vault key.
Family access
Family access follows the rules and waiting periods you set. You may receive notifications when someone requests access. You are responsible for responding to those notifications and for sharing the vault key through a separate, secure channel of your choice.
Availability
We aim to keep EazyFi Vault available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, outages, or issues with third-party providers may occasionally affect the service.
Free to start
We may offer free access during early periods. Pricing or plan changes, if introduced later, will be communicated clearly before they apply to you.
Disclaimer
EazyFi Vault is a tool to help you organise and share information under your control. It is not legal, financial, or estate-planning advice. We are not responsible for decisions you or your family make using information stored in the vault.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk. On termination, your right to use the service ends; encrypted data handling is described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
